Spartans Overpower Raiders, Capture Fifth-Straight Win

Part of Shoot Out Childhood Cancer Night

SUPERIOR, Wis.- Make it five in-a-row for the Superior boys’ basketball team, who took down Hudson 54-40 at Spartan Gym Monday night.

The Spartans’ game was also part of Shoot Out Childhood Cancer Night, which raised money for the St. Luke’s Foundation, as well as for the family of Amelia, a Cooper Elementary student currently battling acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

Monday’s win puts Superior at 10-3 overall. On Friday, the Spartans will face Cloquet (7-7). Last season, the Spartans defeated the Lumberjacks 76-48.
