UMD Baseball Picked to Finish 12th in NSIC, Cole & Buttweiler Named Players to Watch

UMD opens the season February 25th against Southwest Minnesota State in Topeka, Kansas.

DULUTH, Minn.- Soon the UMD baseball team will be hitting the field.

On Thursday, the NSIC preseason coaches poll was released and the Bulldogs were picked to finish 12th in the conference.

The team would have two players being recognized by their opponents.

Former Greyhound and current junior infielder Ethan Cole was named a Player to Watch. And graduate pitcher Brayden Buttweiler landed on the Pitchers to Watch list.
