Bethany Lutheran & UW-Superior Split Men’s & Women’s Hoops Doubleheader

Both squads will be back at it on Saturday against Martin Luther. The women's game begins at 3 PM and the men will follow at 4:45 PM.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- The UW-Superior men’s basketball team faced a tough test on Friday, ultimately falling to the 1st place Bethany Lutheran Vikings, 69 to 47.

The loss snaps a four-game winning streak for the Yellowjackets.

UWS was led by Andrew Kunelius, who had seven points.

In other basketball action, the UWS women’s squad would take down Bethany Lutheran, 74 to 70.

Erika Mattson had a team-leading 19 points in the victory.
