Esko Girls Basketball Edges Mesabi East in 1st Place Matchup, Rock Ridge & Grand Rapids Earn Road Wins

Esko will next host Moose Lake/Willow River on Thursday. Rock Ridge is at Chisago Lakes on Friday. And lastly, Grand Rapids will host Proctor on Friday.

ESKO, Minn.- In a battle of first place teams on Monday night, Esko would take down Mesabi East 61 to 39.

Esko was led by Cairin Berger, who had 25 points in the contest.

In other girls action, Rock Ridge earned their 15th win of the season, taking down Duluth Denfeld 65 to 22.

Lexi Lamppa with 15 points for the Wolverines in the victory.

Then over at Duluth East, Grand Rapids would hold off the Greyhounds by a final of 60 to 56.
