Superior Names Bobbijean Gidley as New Head Softball Coach

Gidley was most recently the head coach for the Spartan JV team.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- The Superior softball team has a new leader.

On Monday, the school announced Bobbijean Gidley will take over for Mike Sather, who retired after the team’s 2nd place finish at the state tournament last year.

Gidley was most recently the head coach for the Spartan JV team.

She’s also coached at Proctor High School and played collegiately for UWS.

Gidley and the Spartans first game is scheduled for March 28th against Rice Lake.
