Protestors Gather Outside Brewery to Let President Know Their Thoughts

SUPERIOR, Wisc. — Outside the Earth Rider Brewery, dozens of protestors were on hand to voice their feelings and thoughts on various issues, most notably on the Israeli-Hamas situation in Gaza, but there were others on hand as well.

Al King was one person on hand outside the Earth Rider Brewery and said, “Well, our country is in a total mess. With the President that we have and Democratic Party is basically destroying everything.”

That was one sentiment voiced in protest of Joe Biden. There were other Donald Trump supporters in the crowd and above it, some who waved flags including some that we won’t show.
The most vocal group of protestors belonged to the people opposed to the United States and its support of Israel in the war in Gaza
.
Alice Leino said,” I’m here today because I care deeply about the genocide that’s happening in Palestine at the moment. I feel lucky today to be here in hopes that Joe Biden might be able to hear this message that I believe in, and I feel like everybody here also believes in,”

Barb Kass, another Gaza protestor said, “The situation in Gaza is like the most critical. Right now, the war crime that happened in October was a war crime and we’re answering with a war crime. We just have to stop answering war crimes with war crimes.” Kass continued, “We all have to hold back the darkness when we can. Does it make a difference? It makes a difference to me and it makes a difference to the people to know that people are standing in solidarity”

Besides those who were on hand to protest, some just wanted a chance to see the President. Naomi Pientka and Emerson Hunter were two of those. “We went to the airport this morning and we saw the president’s plane come in. Air Force One. It was very cool. We took a lot of videos. What we saw was all the police cars in town. We didn’t know what was happening so we looked up his schedule and decided we’d try to go and see it. Maybe get a chance to see him? Yeah, that would be the best scenario. But who knows? We’ll see.”

However, no one was able to see the President as he left. He’d gotten into his limo under a tent and drove away at the end of the event.
