Actor Timothée Chalamet Visits Drama Students in Hibbing
HIBBING, Minn.– About 20 Hibbing Drama students were preparing for their drama competition on Thursday afternoon when they received a surprise visitor from a noted actor. None other than Timothee Chalmet.
Megan Reynolds, the Drama Coach at Hibbing High School learned just a day earlier that he wanted to visit.
Chalamet stopped by Hibbing as he prepares to take on the role of Bob Dylan in an upcoming movie. Dylan himself grew up in Hibbing.
“We have a guest, who has asked to meet you and this is Timothée Chalamet, and then everybody’s jaws dropped,” said Reynolds.
“And I think someone, I think one of my students actually took a step backwards. So it was a super fun, really fun reveal. It’s not often you get to have that kind of present to your students,” said Reynolds.
Chalamet talked with the students about the play they have been working on and other acting things. He also answered questions from the students.
There was a professional photographer on hand, who was there to take photos of just the students in their costumes. But he also took pictures of Chalamet and the students.
