UMD Forward Ben Steeves Nominated for Hobey Baker Award, Also Named NCHC Forward of the Week

So far this season, Steeves has tallied 21 goals and eight assists for a total of 29 points.

DULUTH, Minn.- UMD sophomore forward Ben Steeves is up for the highest award in men’s college hockey.

On Friday, it was revealed that Steeves is one of the 84 players nominated for the Hobey Baker Award.

So far this season, he’s tallied 21 goals and eight assists for a total of 29 points.

There are two phases of fan voting to dwindle down the list.

Then the finalists will be announced on March 20th and lastly the award winner is revealed on April 12th during the Frozen Four.
