UMD Women Shut Out Mavericks, Earn First Win in Three Weeks

DULUTH, Minn.- After a pair of difficult series against the top two teams in the nation, the #7 UMD women’s hockey team got back on track Friday with a 3-0 win over Minnesota State Mankato.

Danielle Bergen scored the first goal by batting the puck in midair on a power play. Mannon McMahon would add a second goal in the first period before Bergen scored again in the second period.

The Bulldogs (14-11-2) will have a rematch with the Mavericks on Saturday at 2:01 p.m.
