UMD’s Matthew Perkins Named NCHC Rookie of the Week for 2nd Time This Season

Perkins would score twice this past weekend in Omaha, making up half of the team's goals in the series.

DULUTH, Minn.- UMD freshman forward Matthew Perkins has been named the NCHC Rookie of the Week.

Perkins would score twice this past weekend in Omaha, making up half of the team’s goals in the series. Number 34 would also tally an assist in the two-game set.

So far this season, Perkins has four goals and eight assists in 25 games.

He previously was named NCHC Rookie of the Week back in late October.
