SUPERIOR, Wis. — If you are looking for a fun game opportunity this weekend the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center is the place to be.

This is the 6th year of Escape the Bong in Superior. There are 4 different escape rooms to choose from to put your puzzle skills to the test. You will get an hour to escape the room and there are hints if needed.

This weekend is a big help to the Bong Center as funds raised will go toward educational programs there. There are vendors that help plan the rooms and come up with new ideas every year.

“This year one Escape and Evade is a World War II run through the jungle to escape the enemy kind of thing. And then there’s a pirate quest, you’re looking for a pirate treasure in another one. And there’s a speakeasy where you lock the front door and have to figure out the key to get out the back door before the police get in and arrest you during Prohibition Era that’s a pretty cool one. And then the last one is the Hornet’s Nest which is pretty intense, you have to break into a Russian sub and steal it back for the government,” said John Gidley, Executive Director of the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center.

Those that participate can also walk through the museum. Escape the Bong is taking reservations the whole weekend. Click here to register.
