Let’s Move Returns to the Depot and Gets Kids Active

DULUTH, Minn.– The St. Louis County Depot partnered with the Grandma’s Marathon Young Athletes Foundation to bring the second annual “Let’s Move” to kids in the area.

Let’s Move is a day dedicated to getting kids moving, and the event was completely free. All kids K-5th grade were welcome. The event had various activities from baseball, soccer, biking and plenty more. Kids got to learn and try new things all while burning off some energy. Local organizations helped make the day special for all of the kids.

“We love that they love being here, we love that we can offer this to them for free because not every family can afford to get out and do all these activities and this is something that everybody’s welcome,” said Stacey DeRoche, St. Louis County Depot, Event Coordinator.

All of the games and activities were indoors, but many can also be played outside during the warmer months.
