UMD Men’s Basketball Moves Up to #11 in Poll, Await Opponent in NSIC Quarterfinals
The Bulldogs, who gained a first round bye in the NSIC tournament, will next either face Augustana or Wayne State in the NSIC quarterfinals on Saturday.
DULUTH, Minn.- Soon it will be tournament time for the UMD men’s basketball team. But before they head to Sioux Falls, they moved up the rankings.
In the latest NABC coaches poll, the Bulldogs moved up one spot to number 11.
UMD’s last action came on February 21st when they closed out the regular season with an 80 to 69 victory over St. Cloud State.
The Bulldogs, who gained a first round bye in the NSIC tournament, will next either face Augustana or Wayne State in the NSIC quarterfinals on Saturday. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:30 PM.
