Big 2nd Half By Minnesota State Dooms UMD Men’s Hoops in NSIC Championship Game
The Bulldogs will now wait and see if they earn an at-large bid in the National Tournament.
SIOUX FALLS, S.D.- The UMD men’s basketball team would compete in their 3rd straight NSIC championship game on Tuesday.
Sadly like the other two, the Bulldogs weren’t able to hoist the trophy in the end as they fell to Minnesota State 97 to 77.
The Mavericks would outscore the Bulldogs 50 to 37 in the 2nd half to eventually put the game away.
UMD was led by Drew Blair, who had 27 points in the contest.
The Bulldogs will now wait and see if they earn an at-large bid in the National Tournament.
