Potential Of Duluth’s ‘Lot D’ Unveiled In ‘Initial Concepts’ Renderings
DULUTH, Minn. – The future of Lot D along the waterfront in Duluth has become clearer with “initial concepts for the revitalization of redevelopment of Lot D” being released by a Duluth architecture firm.
Architecture Advantage, LLC posted on its LinkedIn account Friday showing renderings of what the prime real estate could look like next to Pier B and Bayfront Festival Park.
“It has been such a pleasure to work with Inland Development Partners, Damon Farber Landscape Architects, and the City of Duluth to bring together initial concepts for the revitalization and redevelopment of Lot D in Duluth,” Architecture Advantage said in the post on LinkedIn.
“This site offers opportunities for equitable public experiences including view of the iconic Aerial Lift Bridge and the shipping harbor in one of the most visible and distinctive areas in the City of Duluth. We enjoyed being able to participate in the Duluth & St. Louis County Days at the Capitol this week and share this work that has been done to date as the City of Duluth seeks bonding funds to assist in the site restoration needs,” the post continued.
Chad Ronchetti, the city of Duluth’s Planning and Economic Development Director, replied to the post by saying, “Tremendous work by your entire team! This is a critical #infrastructure project that supports the #industrial #waterfront, protects existing federal clean up investments, creates redevelopment options for housing, and provides opportunity for the creation of equitable public space!”
