Nate Hill, Hermantown Hoops Ready for Section Final

Facing Chisago Lakes Thursday

HERMANTOWN, Minn.- With the Hermantown boys basketball team one win away from the State Tournament, Nate Hill and his fellow seniors are ready to deliver on their final section playoff game of their high school careers.

With an increased role this season, Hill has provided athleticism and leadership for the Hawks, according to Head Coach Andy Fenske. ” He’s always been an absolute workhorse for our program. He’s that kid who’s going to show up and he’s going to put the time in and to be the best that he can be.”

After winning last season’s Section Final, Hill has an understanding of what it will take this time around. “I mean, we just need to work hard, play good defense, that’s been something we’ve struggled, so we’ve just got to ramp it up on defense a little bit, and just work hard. We’ve got the tools, we’ve got the talent, we’ve just got to use it now.”

Hermantown will face Chisago Lake for the Section 7AAA Title on Thursday at Denfeld High School.
