People Take to the Lakewalk to Soak in the Sun
DULUTH, Minn. — “All of a sudden we could get dumped on by two feet of snow, I’ve seen it happen every so often up here,” said Lakewalk hiker, Dan Anderson. This weather is great, it gets people out, get out in the fresh air and stuff and be able to go out and walk and hike and stuff like that.”
With the temps into the 60’s on Monday, people hit the Duluth lakewalk to soak in the sun. It’s no secret this has been a strange winter when it comes to the weather and seems new record-high temperatures are being reached every week.
But when given the chance people took to the lakewalk to go for a hike, walk a dog or hop on a bike. And with open water as far as the eye can see, anglers were trying to reel in a big one on Lake Superior.
