UMD Men’s Basketball Bound for 3rd Straight National Tournament

UMD drew the 3rd seed in the central region and will match up with the 6th seed, Fort Hays State in the quarterfinals.

DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD men’s basketball team is dancing for the 3rd straight year.

Late Sunday night, the Bulldogs heard their name called for the Division II NCAA tournament.

UMD drew the 3rd seed in the central region and will match up with the 6th seed, Fort Hays State in the quarterfinals.

The Tigers come from the MIAA conference and posted a 23-7 record so far this season.

UMD won’t have to travel far as they’ll face Fort Hays in Mankato on Saturday at noon.
