Body Found on Rainy River
Authorities are investigating after a body was found on River River near Baudette.
The Lake of the Woods County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a body floating on Rainy River around 11:30 a.m.
Authorities recovered the body of 52-year-old John Stiglich, of Shoreview, Minnesota just before noon.
Stiglich’s body was taken to UND Forensic Pathology Center in Grand Forks for an autopsy.
The incident remains under investigation.
