Rice Lake House Catches Fire Saturday Night
RICE LAKE, Minn. — A house caught fire Saturday evening around 6 p.m. in Rice Lake.
According to the authorities, a sole resident of the 4300 block of W. Calvary Rd reported smoke coming up from the basement of the house.
The resident was the only person in the house and was in the process of removing pets.
The fire was extinguished by 6:30 p.m.
The resident reported having no injuries and the fire was not suspicious in nature.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, the Rice Lake Fire Department, the Canosia Fire Department, Air National Guard Fire and Mayo Clinic Ambulance all responded to the scene.
