Maurices Building In Downtown Duluth Hits The Market
Maurices CAO Sue Ross says there will be no impact because the company is in a "long-term lease."
DULUTH, Minn. — A downtown Duluth building that houses the headquarters of clothing retailer Maurices is up for sale again.
The news comes just three years after ASNA PropCo purchased the 11-story building for $15 million in 2021.
The building, which includes a public parking ramp, is located on the 400 block of West Superior Street.
It was built in 2016 for $80 million.
As for Maurices, Chief Administrative Officer Sue Ross told FOX 21 that Maurices isn’t going anywhere and that the company is in a “long-term lease” with the building.
“We are aware that ASNA PropCo is looking for a buyer for the building, but that won’t impact our lease or our plans to continue operating in this location,” Ross told FOX 21 in a statement.
There was no word Wednesday on any potential buyers.
In 2023, the value of the property and building was listed by the county as $28,521,500.
Binswanger real estate organization is handling the sale of the building. Click here for the listing.
