UMD Senior Defenseman Darian Gotz Wins 2023-2024 NCHC Sportsmanship Award

DULUTH, Minn.- In the NCHC, it was the annual awards celebration on Thursday evening in St. Paul.

And one Bulldog would take home an award.

Senior Defenseman Darian Gotz has won the 2023-2024 NCHC Sportsmanship Award.

He’s the first Bulldog since Kobe Roth in 2020 to achieve the honor.

The Hermantown native would tally six assists in 37 games of action this year.

Gotz is the fourth Bulldog since 2014 to win the sportsmanship award.
