Craft Show Season Ramping up in the Northland
HERMANTOWN, Minn. — While the northland is seeing snow, it’s still Spring and that means the craft show season is ramping up.
The Katz Meow Shows hosted its first event of the year on Saturday. Around 50 vendors packed the AAD Shrine building, showing off their crafts, from custom jewelry, handmade trinkets and even food products. One vendor says many shoppers are searching for the perfect gift, even if it isn’t the holiday season.
“People are thinking, what can we get for the holidays coming up and actually. I get a lot of people that shop for Christmas all year long,” said crafter Denise McDougall. “So it’s fun to listen to what people do and ask them what kind of gift are you looking for, ask them what does the person like or do that they’re buying for and I can suggest something because I have a wide variety of items.”
The Katz Meow Shows will be hosting multiple vendor shows throughout the year, including one in Proctor at the end of April.
