Former Thunderhawk Jack Peart Inks Deal with Minnesota Wild

Peart just finished up his third year at St. Cloud State.

GRAND RAPIDS, Minn.- After being selected by the Wild back in the 2021 NHL Draft in the 2nd round, Grand Rapids native Jack Peart is ready to join the team.

On Tuesday, the defenseman signed a three-year, entry-level deal with the squad.

Peart just finished up his third year at St. Cloud State.

Before his time with the Huskies, he won the Minnesota Mr. Hockey Award with Rapids in 2021. Peart would lead the Thunderhawks in points with 35 that year.

Number 23 is expected to skate for the Iowa Wild for the remainder of the season.
