27th Annual Taste At Fitger’s Will Once Again Benefit Second Harvest Northland
DULUTH, Minn. — The 27th annual Taste at Fitger’s event coming up this Friday evening. Every year, local restaurants and breweries come together in one place for people to sample their fine food and drinks and it is all for a good cause. The tickets are $50, but all net proceeds benefit Second Harvest Northland. Over the years, Taste at Fitger’s has raised $700,000 for the local food bank. Event organizers look forward to this opportunity every year to help raise money and hunger awareness for those in need within our community.
“Second Harvest Northland needs to be mentioned. This is a fundraiser for them, and they are so vital to the community. They feed so many people and help out in so many ways. So, we really are happy to partner with them. It’s very important to us to have this event to support such a worthy cause,” said Fitger’s Mall manager and Taste at Fitger’s organizer Tami Tanski-Sherman.
Attendees will have the opportunity to sample and vote on their favorite foods, drinks, and table decorations from 30 local business. Due to the nature of the event involving alcohol, you must be 21 or older to attend.
