UMD’s Lauren Dixon Named to NFCA D2 Pitcher of the Year Watchlist

Dixon has a record of 10-2 with an ERA of 1.46. She also leads the NSIC in strikeouts.

DULUTH, Minn.- UMD’s ace Lauren\ Dixon has found herself on a watchlist for a top award.

Dixon is one of 16 players from the central region to be named to the NFCA D2 Pitcher of the Year Watchlist.

She currently leads the NSIC in strikeouts with 120 in 91 innings pitched. Dixon has a record of 10-2 with an ERA of 1.46. She also has four shutouts and a 16 strikeout outing under her belt.

The award winner is set to be announced on May 27th.
