Police said Kyham Lavon Dunn, 30, was arrested Friday as he entered the porch of a home where a Domestic Abuse No Contact Order was in place.

According to court documents, Dunn wanted to see his two kids at the home.

The mother of the kids, who is also the victim, called police when Dunn allegedly notified her that he was on his way over.

After the arrest, a search warrant of Dunn’s vehicle was executed. Police said they found a handgun inside and roughly 17 grams of cocaine individually packaged.

The highest charge involving the drugs comes with a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison. The firearm charge comes with a maximum sentence of 15 years and the domestic abuse violation – 5 years max.
