Minnesota Wilderness Approved to Bring In NA3HL Team

The specific location of the new Wilderness team is still to be determined.

CLOQUET, Minn.- The Minnesota Wilderness will soon be bringing another hockey team to Northeastern Minnesota.

On Thursday, it was announced that the team was approved for the purchase of the Minnesota Loons, a NA3HL team that is currently based in Breezy Point.

Wilderness Owner Barry Bohman plans to move the team and rebrand them as the Minnesota Wilderness of the NA3HL.

The NA3HL is the third tier league of junior hockey.

The specific location of the new Wilderness team is still to be determined.
