Rails Cut Through Fog in Rout Over Agates

15 runs scored in five innings by Proctor

PROCTOR, Minn.- After defeating Rock Ridge in their season opener, the Proctor softball team stayed undefeated, taking down Two Harbors 15-0 in five innings.

After a scoreless first inning, the Rails adjusted to the foggy conditions by scoring eight runs in the second inning. Three of the first four runs were scored on wild pitches before Emma Shelton and Sydney Adamski each hit two-RBI doubles.

Proctor will finish out the week in Grand Rapids against the Thunderhawks on Saturday. Meanwhile, Two Harbors will face both Esko and Moose Lake/Willow River on Tuesday in Esko.
