Trio of Northlanders Named to U.S. Under 17 National Team

The three will compete for the team in the USHL, as well as other international tournaments during the 2024-2025 season.

DULUTH, Minn.- A trio of Northlanders have been named to the U.S. Under 17 National Team.

Hermantown natives Victor Plante and A.J. Francisco, as well as Superior’s Jackson Marthaler were named to the roster on Wednesday afternoon.

The NTDP is a two-year residency program that is located at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan.

The three will compete for the team in the USHL, as well as other international tournaments during the 2024-2025 season.

Marthaler and Francisco previously have ties to the red, white, and blue as they won gold this past January at the Youth Olympics.
