Proctor’s Big Bats Serve Up Home-Opening Win

Rails improve to 2-0

PROCTOR, Minn.- The Proctor baseball team are off to a hot start, stringing together their second-straight win in an 8-3 victory over Mesabi East on Thursday.

The Rails were propelled by Wyatt Mineheine, who led off with a triple in the first before recording a two-RBI double in the second inning.

On the mound, Tyler Berglund pitched a complete game while allowing just three hits.

The Rails will look to stay undefeated on Tuesday when they take on Moose Lake/Willow River (0-1).
