New Hotel Begins Construction on Park Point

Park Point Hotel Brings Excitement and Controversy from the Community

A new hotel is being built on Park Point.

The hotel will be three stories high and have 83 rooms and a convenience store. This is something that many people living in Park Point have been asking for.

There are also people that have expressed concern about it saying that the new hotel will cause unwanted traffic in the area.

Joel Johnson, the Hotel Developer, said “We have had traffic studies and it defeats all their complaints. Obviously there is a lot of not in my backyard scenarios in Park Point.”

It is located on 1000 Minnesota Avenue on Park Point and the hotel is expected to be built by July of 2017.
