UWS Hosts a Cultural Night

Northland Community is Invited to a Cultural Night at UWS

A University of Wisconsin-Superior cultural night is happening this Saturday and the community is invited.

This event was created as a way to show the community just how diverse UWS campus really is.

Students will create food from their home countries and also sing and dance.

It is $15 for students and $20 for adults.

Students say it is a great way to learn about other countries.

Kota Yanagidani, a student from Japan, said “There is a great opportunity to learn because it’s sometimes difficult to communicate with people of a different backround especially other countries.”

The event will start at 5:30 on Saturday at UWS campus.
