Superior Softball Shuts Out Rock Ridge in Home Opener

Spartans improve to 3-1 overall

SUPERIOR, Wis.- The Superior softball team allowed only two hits in their 7-0 home opening win over Rock Ridge on Monday.

One of the Spartans’ biggest plays came in the bottom of the fourth when Paige Johnson hit a two-run home run, increasing Superior’s lead to seven.

This win puts Superior at 3-1 overall as they look ahead to Grantsburg on Saturday. Meanwhile, Rock Ridge (5-2) returns home on Saturday to take on Cambridge-Isanti.
