DULUTH, Minn. — Earth Day is upon us and Ecolibrium3 is hosting its 4th annual Earth Week celebrating our planet.

Earth Day takes place on April 22nd every year, it’s a day dedicated to raising awareness about environmental issues and learning how to protect the planet.

In Duluth dozens of people participated in cleaning up the Lincoln Park area.

Eco3 provided gloves, garbage bags and grabbers to each person. There was also training on how to stay safe when cleaning up sharp objects.

Eco3 will be hosting various events throughout Earth Week.

“Then also on the 27th come out to our farm, Lake Superior College up there on the 27th. Bring your family, bring your kids, there’s activities [going on there], so bring them out,” said Helen Davis, Outreach Specialist at Ecolibrium3.

Ecolibrium3 is an organization with a mission to lead and inspire towards a sustainable future.
