DULUTH, Minn. – Three men are wanted and charged after an altercation outside a Duluth bar last week left a woman fatally stabbed.
Darrius Plummer, 34, of Canton, Michigan, is charged with second-degree murder.
Kimonte Cadge, 36, of Duluth, is charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon after he allegedly chased down Plummer after the stabbing and “pistol-whipped” him, according to the charges.
Cadge also reportedly fired his gun once at Plummer.
The final man charged is Trayvon Walters, 26, of Duluth. He’s charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon after he allegedly fired shots in the direction of Plummer and Cadge.
The victim is Chantel Moose, 25, of Duluth.
The crime unfolded after bar close outside Spurs on First at 2:15 a.m. April 12 on the 100 block of West First Street.
According to court documents, the victim was talking to a man outside the bar when Plummer saw them and told the man the victim “was not worth the trouble.”
Court documents say Plummer is friends with the victim’s ex-boyfriend. Close friends of Moose told FOX 21 that Moose was struggling to get away from her ex before the stabbing.
Police said the victim and her friends then started arguing with Plummer. The bar’s bouncer got between the victim and Plummer. Court documents say the victim swung at Plummer before Plummer swung downward over the bouncer’s shoulder, striking the victim in the chest. Police originally said it was her neck.
The victim collapsed. Plummer took off, according to police.
An arrest warrant has been put out for all three of the men charged.
