Duluth Native Forbort & Former UMD Goaltender Fanti Added to NHL Playoff Rosters
Forbort has skated in 35 games this season and has tallied four assists. Fanti has yet to play in a NHL game.
DULUTH, Minn.- The NHL playoffs are officially underway and a few players with ties to Duluth were called-up on Monday to join a postseason roster.
That includes former Greyhound Derek Forbort, who has joined the Boston Bruins for the playoff run.
Forbort has skated in 35 games this season and has tallied four assists.
Meanwhile, former UMD goaltender Ryan Fanti is with the Edmonton Oilers as their 3rd string and emergency backup netminder.
He’s spent the whole season with their affiliate, the Fort Wayne Comets.
