Duluth Pack Giving Back to the Outdoors with Arbor Day Campaign

DULUTH, Minn. — Duluth Pack has started up their annual campaign all about giving back to the great outdoors.

It is the 7th annual Arbor Day Campaign, “Buy A Pack, We Give Back.” The business partners with the Minnesota DNR to plant tree saplings. They plant one sapling for every single one of Duluth Pack manufactured items sold. To date they have planted over 20,000 trees in Minnesota with a goal set to get to 25,000 this year.

“The outdoors especially in our area has done so much for us. We’re a brand rooted in the Boundary Waters. In fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, outdoor adventures. It’s truly just giving back even if it’s just a little tiny bit. It’s the least we could do for the area that we love,” said Grant DeMars, Marketing/Website Manager for Duluth Pack.

The last several years trees have been planted in a forest near Cloquet. The Arbor Day campaign goes till June 13th and that also includes online purchases.
