Dixon Tosses 800th Career Strikeout, UMD Sweeps UMary in Regular Season Finale

Next up for UMD is the NSIC tournament, which begins May 1st in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD softball team ended the regular season with another sweep, taking two wins against UMary on Friday.

In game one, the bats were hot for the Bulldogs as they put up 11 runs to UMary’s zero. UMD would also have three home runs.

On the mound was Lauren Dixon, who would toss her 800th career strikeout in the victory.

Following that contest, UMD once again topped UMary 4 to 1.

Kiana Bender went two for three at the plate and would score twice.
