UMD Softball Blanks Minot State to Make Return to NSIC Championship Game

The Bulldogs will next face Augustana on Saturday in a rematch of last year's championship game. First pitch is at noon.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.- The UMD softball team is heading back to the NSIC championship game on Saturday.

UMD made that possible after shutting out Minot State 2-0 in the semifinals on Friday.

Julia Gronholz would have an RBI single in the bottom of the 3rd. Then one inning later, Elle Potts clubbed her 5th home run of the season.

In the circle, Lauren Dixon had another stellar outing, striking out four batters in seven innings of work.
