UWS Tennis Freshman Maya Haupt Wins UMAC Rookie & Player of the Year, Schaffner Named Coach of the Year

In total, the men's and women's teams would have 13 players honored by the conference.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- UWS tennis freshman Maya Haupt finished off her debut season with some hardware.

On Wednesday, she was named the UMAC rookie and player of the year.

She would go 17-7 in singles action, leading the team in wins. Haupt also had a 10-match winning streak during the season.

Head Coach Ceejay Schaffner was named UMAC Coach of the Year.

In total, the men’s and women’s teams would have 13 players honored by the conference.
