Wildfire Burns Dozens Of Acres Near Cotton

KELSEY TOWNSHIP, Minn. — A wildfire ignited Thursday afternoon near Cotton that burned up dozens of acres.

Kelsey and Cotton firefighters, along with the Minnesota DNR, were called in around 1p.m. along Kacer Road in Kelsey Township, according to the Northland Fire Wire.

The Cotton Fire Department said the fire burned at least 80 acres, according to the Fire Wire.
