One Person Dead After Structure Fire In Village Of Superior
UPDATE (May 10, 12:05 p.m.) — The Superior Fire Department says one person is dead due to a structure fire early Friday morning.
Crews were dispatched to the scene in the Village of Superior at 4:23 a.m. Fire was coming from a single car attached garage but later spread to the front of the single-story home.
Authorities say a person was found in the home and despite lifesaving efforts the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The home sustained significant smoke and fire damage. A home adjacent also suffered damage.
The fire department says crews stayed on scene till 8 a.m. Friday. No other injuries were reported.

SUPERIOR, Wis. — Fire crews are asking the public to avoid the area of 65th Street and John Avenue in Superior as a structure fire has been reported early Friday morning.
The Superior Fire Department says the residential fire is in the Village of Superior.
Authorities say more information will be available when the incident is fully mitigated.
