Burke Homers in Proctor Win Over Duluth East

Rails improve to 15-3

PROCTOR, Minn.- A three-run home run from catcher Anika Burke in the third inning lifted Proctor over Duluth East 4-1 on Friday night.

This win puts the Rails at 15-3 overall with three games remaining in the regular season, including Tuesday’s home game against Cloquet.

Duluth East’s only run came off a wild pitch in the second inning. The Greyhounds (2-13) will play three of their final four games on their home diamond, starting on Monday against Moose Lake/Willow River.
