Proctor Softball On Track for Third-Straight Section Title
Three games remaining in regular season
PROCTOR, Minn.- With the high school softball season winding down, the Proctor softball team will have another opportunity to win a section title.
The Rails are currently 14-3 overall and most recently defeated Duluth East 4-1. After winning sectionals in 2022 and 2023, Proctor’s seniors are confident they have what it takes to step up in big moments.
“We have good leadership on our team, we have good captains for that,” says Emma Shelton, who’s led the Rails in pitching this season. “We always have good attitude and we’re always pumped up for gameday.”
“We’re all good friends outside of softball off the field,” Senior Sydney Adamski noted. “Just always having a good attitude and being there for each other no matter what. ”
Proctor has three games left in the regular season, starting on Tuesday at home against Proctor. The Rails will have a difficult matchup on Thursday in their regular season home finale against Superior before wrapping up their schedule on the road Friday at Rush City.
