Esko & Carlton/Wrenshall Softball Pick Up 1st Round Section Tournament Wins

Each team will next play on Thursday in the 2nd round of their respective tournament.

ESKO, Minn.- Like last year, the Esko softball team would begin section tournament play with a win against Two Harbors on Monday.

Esko would top the Agates 15 to 1 to advance to the 2nd round of the 7AA bracket.

They’ll next face Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin on Thursday at Braun Park in Cloquet. First pitch is at 10:30 AM.

In other section softball play, Carlton/Wrenshall would shut out Chisholm 10-0 in the first round of the 7A tournament.

The Raptors will meet up with Cherry in Grand Rapids on Thursday. That game gets underway at 10:30 AM.
