Red Lobster Files Bankruptcy, Duluth Location Remains Open

DULUTH, Minn. — Duluth’s Red Lobster has avoided closure as the company files for chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Red Lobster’s website now listing more than 90 stores as closed across 27 states. Some of the stores are having kitchen equipment up for auction on an online restaurant liquidator.

Red Lobster was founded in 1968 and is headquartered in Orlando. The company says it’s business as usual for the restaurants that remain open like the one in Canal Park.
