CSS Throwers Beneke & Beseth Earn All-American Honors at D3 Outdoor Nationals

This is the 2nd straight year Beneke has earned All-American status.

DULUTH, Minn.- Over the weekend, two St. Scholastica throwers would end their seasons with All-American honors.

Competing at the D3 Outdoor Championships, Lily Beneke unleashed a personal best hammer throw of 60.06 meters. That was good enough to place third and once again earn All-American status for the 2nd straight year.

On the men’s side, Trent Beseth and his shot put toss of 16.94 meters was good enough to land in the top eight and earn him his first All-American finish.
