R-T-R Handles Moose Lake/Willow River Softball in Class A Quarterfinals

Moose Lake/Willow River will next face Northome/Kelliher in the consolation bracket. First pitch is at 11:30 AM on Thursday.

MANKATO, Minn.- The Moose Lake/Willow River softball team made their 3rd straight state tournament appearance on Wednesday.

Their opponent on the other hand was Russell-Tyler-Ruthton, who was making their first-ever trip to state.

The Knights showed they were not your average first timers as they came away with the 10 to 0 victory in the A quarterfinals.
