Grand Rapids Baseball Takes Two from Duluth Denfeld to Claim 4th Straight 7AAA Title
The Thunderhawks have made it to the state tournament now 22 times.
VIRGINIA, Minn.- The Grand Rapids baseball team entered Wednesday needing two wins against Duluth Denfeld to advance back to the state tournament.
The Thunderhawks left no doubt as they took game one 10-0 and game two 2-0 to win the Class AAA section title.
Rapids advances to the state tournament for the fourth straight year.
It’s also the 22nd time in program history they’ve made it to the big stage, which is the most in Minnesota High School league history.
